Aren't you a programmer? networking involves some code too. Of course most of it it's lots of cables and planning. But all of you are going to help program our routers, firewalls and switches to be more secure. Ever since we got virus in our server because of some website I'm not going to take risks again. Internet security is very important! Or maybe I'll cancel all our internet and you've to web develop without internet just your local server.

I didn't answer because it seemed like a rhetorical question. I didn't want to get fired neither so I kept my mouth shut.

I understand that networking involves lots of work but I'm sure all of you studied that on college. To make it easier for you I took some time and planned your network, I send itto everyone, you can see all the sockets, cables and where they pass and where our network devices are in the basement. I decided to also buy two wireless devices too so we can implement a wireless networking too, it'll be handy for our laptops. In the first days we are going to take care of the hardware part and then we're going to take care of internet security. I don't want any virus coming in to our network. Every antivirus must be updated. I won'ttolerate mistakes. Now let's start, you can all go now. You! Programmer! Come here.

I knew this was for me, I wanted to pretend I didn't hear what he said, but it was impossible, he almost yelled. I went to his direction slowly afraid of his next words.

Since you're a "programmer" you're going to help like everyone and from now on you're going to make sure our security stays intact, I don't care what you do but you're in charge. Search the web, do the impossible. Write a internet security guide and give them to your colleagues. I'm sure they will like it. I'll be watching you.
