If you ask me what my favorite thing in the world is I would have to say that it is my laptop.I run my entire work and social life on it, if I ever had to live without it I would be totally lost. I work for a web design company and therefore you can find me online all day. My friends and co workers will never complain that they could not get hold off me because I am very rarely off-line.

I get to work at six in the morning and immediately log in to my yahoo and google accounts. I take my laptop into any meetings that I attend so that way I will never miss anything important. Iusually gooff-line when I take my morning tea break at 10, I like to take those 20 minutes to relax and organize my mind. Once I am done with that I immediately log back in, especially to my google email account which is where my friends can contact me through out the day.

I mean you never know when an emergency might arise and I need to be available to my many friends in case they should need me. At the end of the work day I take my laptop home with me, I use it to go online and chat with my friends while I take the train ride home. I usually can not chat at work so we take the time to catch up on all the daily gossip.Once I reach my stop I am again off-line for 15 minutes while I walk to my condo.

Upon reaching my living room I again log in and keep my chat open while I make myself some dinner andpour a glass of wine. I get a whole hour to relax before heading out for the evening with my pals. Of course at that point I can no longer take my laptop so I switch to my blackberry for really fast texting and messaging. I hate checking my google mail on that though, it looks so cramped but it helps to keep in contact with other friends that are not out with us that night.

So that is how my lap top keeps me in touch with daily life and friends. In a few months I am even going to upgrade to a much better model and will be able to do even more with it.
